Thanks guys. The guy is a s****per. And a lazy one. The s**** yard won't take them with the tires on them. So he brought them here. He told me he had piles of old wheels. Maybe he has something good.

Early 32 to 34 Dodge. I have a '33 Ply Wheel that has bald tire on it, and has held air for over 20 years. It is a little different

17" wheels with 5 bolt 4 1/2 bolt pattern, I would love to have them for a project I have in mind. A 30s style roadster or boat tail speedster on a 55 Plymouth frame. Those wheels are exactly the look I want. Either those or wires.

Too bad they are 2400 miles away.

I don't know. I would like to try to make them work on one of my projects. The guy said he has hundreds of old wheels. Even said he had some old flatheads. He said all he does is s**** stuff. And would sell wheels cheap if he did not have to get the tires off. He even told me where some old thirty model fords were. He did not know years.

I will be good to him. He cares nothing about them. Just the money he can make off them. I know where a old trailer is. That has four wheels like this. But they look taller than these.

  23. Wish I were closer... I have an early wheel fetish :)

Seriously though, if he has any early wire wheels (20's), I would be interested in a set!

There is a bunch if stuff in this area. You just see it from the roads. Most people will let you look. Still some good old people around here. Most of the old yards are gone around here. There is a guy that his last name is nail. He has a small yard. It has some old stuff in it. Nothing from the 30's. He is out on lingleville rd. around brownwood I don't know much about that area. I'm sure there is a bunch out there. Over by Rising star there is a place that has a bunch of cars. You can see them from the highway. That's probably out of your way.

There use to be a guy right outside Comanche that had a bunch of good stuff. But your odds would be better with a lotto ticket. The best thing to do in this area. Is to just get away from town and drive down every little dirt road. What way are you driving from?
