Alright, we haven't had one of these in a while... and after talking to the originator (LouverDude).... there is just enough time to squeeze one in this spring. Here's the plan: April 13th Meet at Buffalo Wild Wings in Oshkosh at 11:00 am 500 S Koeller St Oshkosh, WI 54902 Head on over to the the EAA AirVenture Museum at around 1:00 pm 3000 Poberezny Rd Oshkosh, WI There is an admission fee unless you are an EAA member. I'm working on getting a group rate. See you there!
You would all be welcome to stop in at my shop which is just across the river from UWO. Address is 155 S. Campbell. Lots of flathead stuff to see.
Thanks Hank for doing this .....has just felt like life just gets in the way. Hope to see you all soon
OK .. I'm reading something that sounds really interesting But I don't know what it is... Inform me sir ... Sorry for admitting ignorance ... --- www.kkoanorthevent.yolasite.com ---
simply a get together of like minded HAMB car guys (and gals!) that are local to Wisconsin, its always a good time, and Flathead Jack's place is like the attic of a flathead museum... simply a must see! you the man!
After a long game of phone tag I finally made contact with the right guy. Group rate for the museum is $9.50 per adult, $6.50 per child. Need at least 10 to get the group rate. They offered to provide a guided tour or we can just walk around by ourselves. Any opinions for either way?
I just found out that I have to work on April 13. It figures that one of the two weekends a year my job requires me to work would fall on a day of something I wanted to do. Sorry for having to back out. I hope you guys can still get the minimum of 10 people. I was going to ask while we there, but is anyone going to Iron Invasion, and if so do they want to convoy out there?
The Museum called to confirm everything and it looks like we are all set. Weather is supposed to clear up on Sat so it should be a good day. See you all there.
I just caught this post. We hope to make it up to join you guys! We were just at EAA in November, but I'd love to check out Jack's place. Hopefully see you Saturday! Al
put an event together... i've never heard of one, maybe the twin city area does something? i dont think so, but never know
Yep... rain, snow, or shine. Don't worry about driving HAMB friendly car. This is more of an excuse to get together and hang out for a while.
Damn... wish i would have known sooner....heading to the in-laws this weekend in Burlington for late Easter festivis.....Oshkosh sounds more fun
