    I was was thinking about doing another engine poll to seperate out the big blocks and small blocks and add in a few more choices and also trying to see if you could vote more them once but i don't think you can.:mad:

    They make "big block flatheads?

    I guess the 292 going in my 48 could be called a big block though.

  8. Biggest block they made until the FE/MEL. :D So I guess it would depend on the era, they used the Y block into the '60s after they started the FE/MEL line. ;)

    Hey I would like to snag a Lincoln Y block for my '38, do ya got one just collecting dust under your bench?


    If you don't get busy with other guys their tests should not bother you. :D:D

    I had to take a drug test once, I studied for it and everything. I still didn't p***, damn the luck. :eek: :D:D

    Maybe the original post is re the 337 flat motor that came in Ford trucks and Lincoln Cosmopolitans...could be considered the flathead big block about 150 HP v 100

  13. I'll be right over, but if it comes wrapped in a Lincoln I am going to have to fight the missus for it. She loves merc Land yaughts and lincolns, uh more then she loves me I am afraid. :D
