Prolly depends on stick or auto. Shock from clutch drop is said to b bad with the stock springs

Yeah, stick usually needs a stronger axle than an A/T also.

well finally got it home. Now I've rethought the chop...don't think it will look good with the body line. Just a 3" drop on the front and 2" in the rear with shaved side trim and locks. Rear seat is 90% good, but need a front seat. Got a worst case scenario for ALL the floor boards minus the trans tunnel and the good metal over behind the rear seat.....gonna cost possibly over $2000, but will ****yze what i need soon. Time to start getting all the metal and start about September.

I widened my wheel tubs two inches at the back. I'm fit for a 225/70 in the back. Check out my build thread and profile. might give ya a few ideas.

  7. Hello gents,I have a biz coupeI've been playing around with for a while, also
With 12 -15 " of ground clearance you can lower them quite a bit. mine was so rotted I didnt have any problems chopping it up..
I bagged mine ,widened the fenders 2" reshaped the wheel wells, dropped the body about 6" and made full length rockers and a ton of other stuff...Its been a blast.... finding other plymouth guys is tough ,glad to see others resurecting these old beauties...
