Well I do agree about the Elvis on the 36, otherwise I love the car. I does belong to a friend and the artwork was done by another friend. Don built the car himself, including the the hammerweld chop. Just farmed out the interior, striping and the art.

    Purple,
Those twins of yours look like fun! Man, I can't wait....the wife and I are expecting our first one in February. We found out last week that its a little girl. I find myself looking at babies in the local stores...I bet the mothers think I'm some sort of sick-o or something.

Nope, I'm just gonna have one too in about 4 1/2 months. :)

Nice pics! Your boys rock! Little HAMB shirts...hehe... I love it. :D

When I first looked at the thumbnail I thought it was Kramer from Seinfeld.

    Maybe it should be?

Purple, your car pics are cool, but your avatar is one of my favorite baby pictures ever, except for the ones of my boy, of course.

    Gawdamn judgemental assholes....

How come it's the people who can't connect two dots on a piece of paper are the noisiest art critics?

Go do what you might (doubt it, but) be qualified to do, figure out some compression ratios!

I'm not Denise you dork........I REALLY am Brandy. Denise makes cookies and lives in Michigan. She's a lady and I'm a still stable hand, throwing shit this way and thata way.:D

If he ever opts for the black velvet look, I'll help deco the car. Could be mad fun!
What if he had taken it even further and done a "broken dreams' mural? Now that could be REALLY cool. Marilyn, James Dean, Elvis all hanging out. A beautiful car nonetheless. I love that body style.

Well I can connect two dots, and while that '36 is pretty damn bitchin, I have to agree... loose the elvis mural.

So I see that baby blue '36 coupe is now red with Radirs. Alot of red. I would have liked to have seen him keep the checkered firewall or at least made it all white. Not enough visual contrast. Shit load of work though since the last time I saw it. Good for him.

I'll say it's tacky. I can draw so dose that qualify me to say it. Or do I need a degree. I'm not saying its easy to do portraits and they did an mediocre job in a very tough feild to make look good. Portraits are a bitch freehand I'd use a projector for that job since it's so visible and getting it right would be a big deal. The work is decent I just dont think it should be on a car.

Ron, the car belongs to Tom who had Frank DeRosa do the chop. Here's a couple pics taken at the Invitational. also the lastest pic in front of DeRosa's shop with the new headlight bezels.
