Maybe not wrth 17 bucks but that is what it is going to cost you to own it.

I think that add on turn signal switches go pretty high most of the time, I would probably drop 17 bucks on it if I needed it.

 

I bought the same one from Kelly's Hot Rod parts from right here on the HAMB.

That looks like the same design as the one I bought from The Hotrod Company on sale last year. http://www.thehotrodcompany.com/shopnow/show_item.asp?product_id=A13310C I think I paid about 18 bucks for it at the time.

It looks great but doesn't have provisions for 4 way flashers if you have the need for four way flashers The light on the end of the lever is a great reminder that you have the signals on though. Saves having to put lights in the dash.

 

I have found that style to be ****py. Mine didn't last but a few years. I used one like this http://automotive-hardware.com/universal-turn-signal-switch-p-292.html and was a lot happier with it.

(I didn't buy it there, I just did a quick google to find it.)

Hmm...I've always heard those were junk and that they don't last long. You're best bet would be to dig an old one up at a swap meet. They put gazillions of quality examples on semis and they show up pretty regularly at swaps. I've bought almost every style and never paid more than $15 and that includes the Art Deco lookin ones that sell for $300 on eBay. JohnnyA

 

I found the compatability chart on the auction listing very humurous.

 

Did you offer 17 or spring for the full 17.99?
And don't bash it when it's a piece of ****. You get what you pay for.

 

got a new one at swap meet for 15 from a vendor and also bought two very cool old ones for 5 and 7. They are showing up more now. Check out some swaps first.

 

I guess im lucky. I live where they still believe in hand signals. No two tail lights on my model a, or ugly front blinkers.... i know i know im gonna for sure cause an accident and possibly kill a
Bus full of pregnant nuns. Or even worse!
