Been visiting the site for quite a while and enjoy reading he info available. Getting a '51 Mercury pickup ready for the road, that has a previously installed Chev front clip and drive line ( 305 being replaced with a 350 ) with O/D trans. Have done a lot of replacements during last couple of years and next is the front suspension - hopefully someone can advise re the front spring rate to get a decent ride.
