I'm building a 63 Biscayne and I've seen where some folks have done some nice mods to their rear bumpers. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do these?

I've made a start on mine but, trying to save myself a little pain from trial and error. 63biscutttt029.jpg

There might be a 63 Impala one piece California bumper out there. I found some for my 64 Impala. Good luck!

Thanks. I found the one piece bumpers but, they are still standard size and they have the large opening in them.

I did a little looking last night and I think I can use the ends from a 62 rear bumper, trim off the horns and weld them in the center of my bumper to create a smaller license plate opening.

how radical would you like to go? I'd cut off the ends and form them into the rear edge of the fender, then make a rolled pan for the area in between, and stick hockey stick style 63 Vette bumpers. they just seem to work everywhere.

i'm trying to remember what the same year Oldsmobile and Pontiac and Buick had...since the bodies are the same.

I'm not going to go too radical, just a bit smoother, ideally like the first picture I posted.

Good idea with the other B Bodies but, just looked at some pictures and those bumpers are even bigger.
