anyone got any pics and what size tires your running? tried to find the well known post by ryan about wheels, tires, and stance but no luck finding it. but lets see those 28/29 model a's stance pics
Here's what I've done with my '30 coupe: Frame height kick-up - drops the rear by 2.5 inches + '26 T spring which is about 2.5 inches flatter than the stock 'A' spring + take out 2-3 leaves which will flatten it out another 1-2 inches + reverse the eyes. That will lower the whole rear of the car about 7-8 inches. With 7:00-16 Firestone rear tire the top of the tire will follow the rear wheel arch nicely about an inch or so clear. For the front I used tried and true 3.5inch dropped Model A I-beam + reverse eye 'A' spring less 4 leaves to flatten it out some more. Stock front cross member so there's about 1 inch space left between the spring and the underside of the frame rails. I can get another inch lower with longer-than-stock front shackles too. Front tires are 4.75/5.00-16 Firestones. Hope that helps.....

awesome thanks guys. i re-up'd my alliance membership, called coker and looked at a bunch of pics and decided to go with the 16x600 and 16x700 i have an idea of how everything is gonna look, doing a suicide perch on the rear end so i can run spring behind rear, and switched my so cal front spring out with a model a spring, i pick up my tires this weekend at the louisville swap, so when i get the tires mounted and mocked up ill decide if i wanna take leafs out and/or reverse the eyes, or switch back to my 500's in the front and some of my old components,
