Hi, I'am new to the site, I need help. I'am putting a sbc in my 36 with a cradle mount. I have read were the mount parcially blocks the lower radiator hose and the fuel pump. Can any one tell me if this is a problem and what hoses they used?
Also were you able to install the standard fuel pump or install a electric pump? Any help would be much appreciated.
My coupe was parked in the late 50's early 60's and I wanting to get it on the road this summer.
    (original motor long gone)
    Thanks

I used a hurst mount on mine, you need a Carter style fuel pump so you can move the lower half of the pump so you can get the fuel pickup on the pump. I had to shave my hurst mount a little with a 3 1/2 grinder too..

Whatcha gonna do for a alt or gen mount?
