Crusin the hill country west of Austin Texas

We're going to be out there this weekend. The plan is to make some stops ever so often as we drive and just party with our friends.

I though some of you Austin guys could hook us up with some cool spots to stop in at.

We will be in San Saba Friday night and south Saturday.

To bad I can't put a timer on this post so it would go away in a few days.

drove my 1964 bowtie from San Angelo over to Austin back in the 70's then back up to big D....great drive....have some pics somewhere....

 

We found a cool little store along the way

 

I was out that way last Friday. Drove from Lampasas to Brownwood then back to Waco.

You can always tell a genuine Texas hot rodder because what would be a major road trip for guys in many states is just a little weekend cruise for guys from Texas.

That sounds like a real fun road trip.
