49 dodge wayfarer business coupe chop and destoy

Yep.. chopped dropped on air. Nice truck!

 

I used the A pillar from the opposite side for the B pillar that got leaned hard.
I had to heat it a bit but it worked out good.

 

It's lookin' good...really love those old mopar biz coupes

 

You have succeeded where Chrysler failed in putting the right top on your Dodge. Very nice job.

chop looks good. A buddy of mine just picked up a 49 wafayer buisness coupe. we plan on chopping it. keep us updated.

Nice build. Dig the bobber trucks too (most of em). that Chebby is the shiznit.

 

That chop takes the stodginess out of the old Mopar! I never liked the look of those tops, it looked like it was a add on at the last minute. It flows so much better now! Hope to see the finished product soon!

So I ended up starting a shop in golden co. building hot rods. I needed some start up funds so I sold the dodge to a life long friend. This is the last pic I have of the car. The guy I sold it to is going to try to get it on the road fairly soon I will try to keep this updated.

 

The car looks bad ass from the back, ill get some pics.

 

I like it. Hope you buddy finishes it up nicely.

Not trying to "jack" this thread but I figure there were a couple of us wanting to see how this car and chop would turn out. The original poster sold the car and the thread was no longer getting updated. But since then I have went ahead and chopped my 50 Dodge Wayfarer 3 window and here are some pics on the process and how she came out.
