    Any issues with putting a 1954 215 head on a 1963 223 block?

Hey, I'm looking to swap some rockers from early 223 to later 262, for the possibility of a higher lift and duration. Perhaps you may already be on to something with your head swap. The rockers supposedly in your '63, 223 should be 1.43:1, while the rockers in your early 215 may be 1.52:1. I doubt the difference would cause any interference problems, but some measuring might help both of us out, and pump a little more out of our 223/262 engines.

  3. The heads will swap but the valve covers bolt on differently. Not hard to overcome.

215, 223,and 262 all years, are the same rocker ratio. I have measured them all.
