Good Day to all of you,
Working on a '65 Galaxie 500 xl 352 4bbl auto in the shop and would like to find a front fender script for this car ( GALAXIE 500 XL). The original one on the left side is broken (GA is missing). As I have found out by searching everywhere no one repops these nor can I find a good take off. Just hoping someone out there knows where one is or has 1 or a pair that they would part with. Any and all leads would be much appreciated.
A bit of info. on the car for the curious out there. We bought it at a farm auction last summer. Last licensed in '89, has been repainted many moons ago but looks decent yet. Paint has to be brought back to life. Replaced water pump, alt, all hoses, new mufflers, repaired gas tank, all new brakes, lines, etc. and new tires. Interior is white, exterior is vintage burgandy. All in all a pretty nice ride.

    Thank you!!

Stan is awsome!! Just installed a full 1/4 on a '65 Galaxie vert we are building. We got the used section from him and the transaction was great. Down to earth trustworthy guy!

  5. I wonder if he would have a missing 1962 Galaxie 500 XL script on the rear quarter.

  6. Like stated above, Stan is a grate guy. I'll bet he'll have your script also. Just give him a call. He's been parting out big Ford's for many many years.

But not as much as you paid for those 427 Pyrex headlight covers! I have the same ones on my 65.
