Looking to change out the inboard headlights on my 63 fairlane to yellow/amber headlights. Have done an extensive inter web search.......no luck. Any clue where I can get my hands on a set of 3 prong, 5 3/4" headlights? Not to worried about the legalities of it since my low beams will stay white and the car is registered "antique". Thanks.....Al
There are sprays and tints available for headlights in Yellow. Do a google search for yellow headlight tint.
On my g***er falcon I cleaned mine real good with rubbing alcohal and sprayed a mix of yellow and clear. worked great. Cal
When I did that to my Newport, I just went to my buddy at carquest and told him what I wanted and it was available in a Sylvania I believe. Shouldn't be too hard to find?
The windows in my chevy II were spayed with that anodizing paint for painting over chrome. "MELTDOWN DRAGS" July 20, 21 2013 at Byron Dragway Byron Ill. www.meltdowndrags.com

On the Raybestos GTO-R, I really wanted to get a set of yellow lights for the inboard pair of headlights. We ended up having to get them from a place in Denmark, IIRC.

Just ordered a pair for the wife's Stude wagon. GE or Eiko both are part number 4412A. Only (35 watts) but will look good. And yes 5 3/4" Par-46 bulbs.
I'm going for the lowrider look with the inner headlights - the high beams - being amber colored. I am having a helluva time trying to find them! The 4412A lights have a screw type connector. I just want to utilize the same 3 wire plug I currently have and pop the amber bulbs in. I feel like I used to see them at the auto parts stores but I can't find them online or in store. And I don't want the LED conversion lights, just real old school lights. Has anyone been able to find them?
These have two wires, like a high beam? https://www.cl***icindustries.com/product/4412a.html I don't think you find them with a three wire plug, as used on high/low beam outer lights.
If you don't want to modify your wire harness, make a pair of pig tails. One end with ring connector for the bulb screw. The other end with a flat crimp connector to slide into the factory harness socket for high beam and ground. https://duckduckgo.com/?t=fpas&q=flat+crimp+connector&ia=images&iax=images&iai=https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/1a40c9e0-dbce-4c7a-a1c3-f4d72584313b.d9a018f43ff5f6fd90a5a24202ea8ccc.jpeg
I see you are from Delaware, but in New York State any color other than white is illegal. You might want to check with your local DMV as for what the law states in Delaware.
Thread ***le caught my eye as I’ve recently noticed several cars in the kustoms thread with yellow headlights. Kind of hard to imagine it would be legal in many states.
I like amber lights on the dual headlight era cars. Kinda been thinking about a set on our 64 Elco & I remebered member Rhino here used some candy paint to spray a set on one of his builds here years ago. I like the idea of using a custom color like that.
