It is looking very much like Rita is going to target our coastline again...just a short note to inform those of you who have dealings with us, or were in the process of working with us.

Not sure where we are headed, things are very much up in the air.
If things occur as the tracker is predicting, we will be out of the loop. Please allow us time to sort out any effects of this storm-we will either catch up on our schedule or make good.

I'll update here as long as possible before packing it up.
If you have any questions,we will be checking here and very often until then.
    Thanks,
    Johnny & Kali

    Thanks all....

When I mentioned being out of the loop,I meant communication-wise...two years ago,the house was spared, but there was no power for almost two weeks.....the gas stations were all out yesterday.

Not too worried about the color on the El Camino right now!

If it gets spooky, run for the hills. I grew up on that Gulf Coast and know exactly how you're feelin'. Just don't let it sneak up on you...prepare now so IF you have to bail...you're not leaving anything untended.

    Goodluck ya'll.

    Watching,packing & waiting...but only til tomorrow...

We were going to try to make N.Houston, but when our buddy Hans told us he was moving all his cars to Austin and LaGrange, well- maybe we wanna re-think that....if this beat up old 305 can chug us to Austin, that's where we will head...after that, I can't say.....

Looks like a busy weekend for Austin-ACL (going as planned, I'm guessing), 500 NOLA evacuees in the ConCenter and Gulf Coast Texans. Sound like Hurricane Party Time!:D We should hook up since ya'll are in town.
I'm sorry, but did anybody else check out the cool old cars in Cuba? It's a sickness, I know it...

Well guys and gals, I am sitting in the middle of a hydrogen plant in Freeport. Just me and my bird (had to bring him with me-just couldn't leave him at the house and I doubt I will be allowed back in the morning). It's creepy outside, like some bad movie. Evacuation took place here at 6pm. I am supposed to shut the plant down at 6am tomorrow and get out! Of course I had a nice email from "corporate" that told me how much they are concerned for our safty? Yeah, what the fuck ever! Sorry I just had to vent. My children are enroute to the Dallas area so I am thankful for that. You know what's really weird-I found myself searching for pictures of my Grandmother instead of loading my Harley. Priorities??

My Dad and brother are helping our older brother, rb53effie on the HAMB, get his things from his home down near Galveston. Most likely, he and his wife will have no home to go back to if it comes in as they are expecting. We are moving cars and packing the important things up and going to higher ground ourselves, as our home is just about 2 blocks from the San Jacinto river. I hope everyone makes it through ok.
