I DO NOT want a radial vs. bias debate, just getting that out of the way up front. I have Bias tires now, 7.10-15 Firestones. Very happy with them, no issues whatsoever. Going to go to a different size tire and looking at buying a new set. I also like the look of the BF Goodrich bias tires. However, I have never had a set. Those of you that have experience with both brands, noticed any pros or cons of one over the other? The BFG seem to have a tad smaller overall diameter than the Firestones of comparable tire sizes, not a huge difference but that is a plus. Lets hear your opinions.

Have customers rolling both. No reported issues. No complaints, after PROPER mounting, balancing, and shaving.

I put BF Goodrich 6.70 15s on my '46. They have the 3 5/8 whitewall (bigger than firestone)

I've driven these tires about 1200 miles since I put them on a little over a month ago.
From around the town driving, to 80 mph on the interstate.

I even got them up to 100 mph and still felt steady.

They ride good and look good.

    I suggest them.

I have no experience with BFG bias ply, but do ask for them on anything newI buy or when replacing. I have had belts slip or break on tires, and I have been SOL but when my BFG did, I called them, they stood behind them, and couldnt be more helpful in my bad situation.

So from a customer service stand point, BFG is a good product....

I think it come down to looks the best to you. I went out to the garage and checked the tires on some of my cars,Goodyears from Lucas on my 53 F100,Firestones from Coker on the hot rod and a B F Goodrich spare from Coker in the 54 F100, all were coded CY,meaning that no matter the brand name they were all manufactured by McCreary in Indiana PA.
