I wanna get the Olds out! No chance now. Maybe by the end of the month. Still rain and snow. Sigh.... Anyone else? Tom
I hear ya. I was out working on my '47 Hudson yesterday. Was gonna take it to the exhaust shop when I was done but by that time I was froze stiff and it was snow and blowing. So I just came in and set by the fireplace and had a mad game of connect 4 with my son Hudson, he's a 2005 model year.
Getting the itch!,,your doctor can help you with your problem! Seriously, the weather is not my problem,I've been laid up with a fractured right ankle and haven't been able to drive for 6 weeks now! HRP
I hear ya ! A couple weeks ago I just couldn't take it any more. In the middle of a blizzard I opened the garage door, started my coupe , and sat in it listening to a CD. Maine winters are just too darn long . I'm hoping that in another month I will be able to take a ride. Oh how I envy the folks down south .
.....Being a fellow Wisconsinan.....its called cabin fever....nothing happens until the ice breaks up on the lakes......just have to wait....hang in there
Tom, have you heard the forecast for tonight and tomorrow? We are supposed to get another 5-9 inches of snow. When will it end? I'm itching to get my vehicles out too.
i have not been able to drive my pickup for over a year now...im ready. but i think soon it will actually happen!
Took MR 800 with it's new 5 spd and finally good oil pressure out today for a jaunt, it was wonderful in 60* weather...
Makes me feel blessed living out here in California. I feel for all you guys with all that weather. Appreciate driving a heck of a lot more.
I'm getting the itch just to get back to work on my car, been way to cold and no insulation or heat in the garage. That might change this spring before I get back on the car.
Oh yeah.....but I think there's another 4 weeks to go yet.....in the meantime, enjoy the anticipation.............god, I sound like my grandfather.....
..I usually sneak my rides out thru the Winter when the roads are dry just to keep em in shape, but this Winter hasn't cooperated. Soon as our snow goes and the roads dry off, I'm ready to drive em somewhere!...come on Spring!
