Has any one ever used the wood floor kit from Mac's or Snyder's thinking of putting wood back in my sedan wood like to see some floors you have done trying to get some ideas i think it would be cool thats the way old henery used to. Does anybody else make a wood kit that fits. I think they came with oak when they were built lets see what you got.

They are 1" boards ran from one subframe to the other. On the bottom side they had a couple of 1" by 2" boards ran across the boards to hold them together, as I remember. Maybe someone will shoot you a picture or two.

I took a piece of 1/2 inch plywood and made a floor. I have an original floor stored away. I would not spend the money on buying a kit, just go to the lumberyard and buy the kind of wood you want.

I built mine with some free plywood. Covered them up with a rubber mat and no one ever knows the difference.

I used treated plywood then added additional water sealer and covered it with rubber matting from macs.

Cheaper and better than steel which requires expensive sound deadener and a rust preventer. We are talking about nostalgic cars and not modern streetrods right? I made my own due to the recessed fire wall.

I used marine grade plywood in my former model a. Cheap and easy to install and remove if need be. Once covered with carpet who knows?
