Was in Az for business last week so I stayed an extra day to check out the Goodguys event. The Friday rain put a damper on the event, no parking on the gr*** so everyone was crammed into the limited space. The turnout was not that great (maybe because it is a newer show or possible people in Az are afraid of clouds and a chance of rain.. Here is a link to my shots. (traditional and non traditional rides http://public.fotki.com/Boones/car_shows/2013-car-shows/2013-goodguys-south/ Here are some pictures I can show.
Nice photos, From what I can figure out a big bunch of over 65 PNW rodders winter in the Phoenix area now so you probably saw some familiar faces down there.
Here is a few more (that did not come out to dark) I thought this was a cool way to decorate your electric chair.. This one brought me back to my childhood when my mom would drive me to baseball practice in her yellow coupe.
GREAT PICS!! Some nice shots of our 40 too. Wish I could have met you face to face as am an old PNW guy and have some good friends in Kent and surrounding area. Lived in Sea late 58 thru 61. Worked at Renton on the "BRAND NEW" 707s. Am still looking for a 53/54 Power Glide col for my 48 Fleetline, were ever able to find the stuff you had? Thanx Dave
Randy, I was thinking of you and Danny when I took that picture. I shoot most of the cl***ic 32's for the SC crowd knowing how much you guys love them. Kyle, I had plans of coming back by to steal a beer but before I knew it, the clock said it was time to head to the airport for my flight home.
I just received a email from the guy that has a 47 Mercury convertible that I built in the late ninety's telling me he won the cool convertible award with it at Scottsdale Goodguys event. I won the same award with it in 1999 at a Goodguys Orlando event.
