4 1/2" spread for 60 to 74 midsize cars mustang ,falcon, maverick etc. and 4 1/4" bolt spread for all other rear wheel drive cars later mustang granada , LTD etc. If you are looking for 4X 4 1/2" pattern to fit Mustang ,Falcon etc. there is not much to choose from, I checked ebay on a regular basis and ended up finding a set of American racing outlaw IIs for sale on the ford six forum.

Huh? Lots of stuff out there for 4 on 4 1/2" pattern. have sold three different sets of slot mags in the last couple of months, I've bought another set of Tru-Spokes since the first of the year too. This pattern was shared by the first five years of the Corvair and a couple other cars too including the Datson 240 260Zs. Tons of sporty car wheels floating around that fit too. If your looking at new, not so much...But do remember, if the center is flat like a slot mag or a Halibrand, in most cases you can drill a four bolt pattern into it as well. That opens up a lot of the E.T. type wheels as well.

Thank you,YOU ALL Gas Brothers. The reason I'm asking for help, i have this rear end on a hot rod and the rear seals are broke. Thanks to you guys now i can get an idea how to order brakes shoes, seals and bearings ,Sometimes i run into some auto parts counter people that they only base on computers, i don't blame them for this we are the ones bring this cars to life with other cars parts and the guy who trade me he din't have anything on this car. Have a great summer and drive safe.

You can usually match the seals and bearings by the numbers or measurements without a lot of trouble.

Brake shoes you should be able to do the same way. By measuring the Id of the drum and the width of the shoes you can figure out what size you need and go from there.

There should be other things that can help determine what actual rear end you have such as flange to flange width, cover bolt pattern or no cover and a drop out center section, casting dates on the third member casting.

Sorry Pasadenahotrod, they didn't. They used 4 on 4 1/4" all throught the Pinto MustangII era, later Mustangs too.

There is a TON of stuff out there, and cheap too. Scored 4 14 x 4-1/2" '67 Mustang wheels for my '60 Falcon, $10 each. Looking for #5 now.
