    Hello everyone,

I've been wanting to make this announcement for awhile and finally the pieces have fallen in to place.

Some of you may know that I spent much of the past year fighting cancer. The good news is...I won! Thanks to an awesome team at the Dana-Farber Cancer Ins***ute. I finished chemo a couple of months ago and now have a clean bill of health. I spent the summer getting back to normal and feel better then ever.

And now the really good news... A new issue of Mag-neto is finally ready, hot off the press! I spent a lot of time just thinking about a new direction for the magazine, mainly because there are now a bunch of cool little mags and more popping up everyday. I also wanted more time to actually work on my hot rods rather than sit in front of a computer working on a magazine. So the new format is now annual instead of quarterly. BUT it's also now a big-*** full-color calendar with a feature car for each month. So you can hang it up after reading the stories. If you miss the old quarterly format, just read 3 months at a time. :)

Anyway, I want to thank everyone for your kind words and patience the past year while production was on hold. I hope you enjoy the new format.

If you had a subscription, it was mailed out today. Since it's an annual now, I won't be taking subscriptions any longer (another move toward simplifying my life). You can just pick up a new one each year from my website or any number of other vendors (preferably one from the HAMB!).

For any HAMBer that places an order, I'll cover the shipping to you. Just send the total to my Paypal account (flash@mag-neto.com) along with a note and your HAMB name.

Check out the new format plus the available back issues at www.mag-neto.com

    Here's the new cover:

That ****ing RULES Tony. Glad to hear it. Glad to see the Mag back in whatever form is necessary for it to live on. Amazing work as always.

Are your normal distributors going to carry the annual or am I best to buy it direct?

I sure as hell hope so. I have a huge pile of these rags to move! I've also sent sample copies to all the shops who carried it before. Hopefully once they see the new format they'll still want to carry it.

Glad to hear you're ok- I sent in some $$$ for a subscrip. right after you paused publication, and I was impressed how quickly I got my money back- stand up effort, all things considered. I'll send out an order for the new edition- looks sharp.

Checked out your address on mapquest- I work practically across the street from you, in the old ADL building off Route 2- small world!

Screw the magazine. I think your a RULER for beating the cancer.

I must admit, I am glad Mag-Neto is back, but I'm mostly glad to hear you beat the disease. I'll look for it at the Diner.

Great to hear the good news Tony. I was hoping you'd go Annual on the zine too. There's some serious saturation going on out there.

I'll be grabbing a heap off you for sure. It's an honour to have a mag like Mag-Neto to offer to the guys here.

So awesome, always wondered why the site said the mag was going on hiatus. Congratulations on all counts.

    Tony,

I'm glad to hear you're doing OK. I've chatted with you a few times (actually, my wife did more than me!) at the Road Agent's show.
