    "My 1960 F100 Ford Build"
    Welcome to my thread. I looked for a year and couldn't find a 1957-1960 F100 Ford for what money I had saved up. I was lucky to find a 1960 because that what I really wanted. I found this jewl on Craigslist for $600 in Jonesboro, Ark. It was suppose to be a 6-7 hour trip there and back but instead it took 13 hours because of a blow out on the trailer in the middle of nowhere.

    Found a 1960 Arkansas license plate on craigslist $20.

    Cut a hinge off and old tailgate.
    [​IMG]
    Sanded down to get the old cracked bondo off.
    [​IMG]
    Red oxide primer.
    [​IMG]
    Painted the needles.

    Perfect, I can still hear the slap of the tailgate chains on the box. one of those was our family car till I was about 7. Got my drivers license in it. Went on my first date in it...........Got.........never mind. Cool truck.

    You should keep the stock frame and just add the dakota clip to the front of it!!

    Nice looking truck!!

    the old frame is rusted out and junk.. muskogee ok huh.

    Yep! but just relocated to Broken Arrow. How's your cab look rust wise?
