Hello, I have been lurking on here for many years. Have been a car/truck enthusiast for 20+ years. I have a large family (5 kids) and work in the steel industry. My dad has been painting cars since the early 70s which had me growing up at a used car lot and body shop. I currently have 3 projects going and one is a daily driver. I have my 68 Chevrolet C10 lwb that has a 350 crate motor with 3 on the column still. Looking at swapping it out to an auto or floor shifter. I also have a 402 BB that may find its way into the truck for more towing power. I have a 64 Chevrolet C10 SWB that I have owned for 23 years. It was my high school ride. Its been sitting awhile but I have been getting it ready to put back on the road. I have a LM7 all aluminum 5.3L built for it with a built TH350. Last I have a 53 Chevrolet 3100 AD that im building into a traditional hot rod with open engine, straight axle, frame has been z'd, chopped 3" and a 36 Chevy Coupe Grille. I have a Cadillac 425 with TH400 attached for the powerplant. This one is getting most of my time now. Hope to learn alot more on this site, there seems to be endless knowledge here. Here are a few pictures of my trucks. And one of the old school 200X
That 53 AD sound like an interesting project. I 'd love to see the progress pics! Thanks for sharing.
Been working alot on the 53, got the frame finished, motor and trans in, working on the brakes and steering. Powerplant is a Cadillac 425/turbo 400 Chevy 10 bolt with 2.73 gears.
Also started mocking up a motor in my 64 C10 Went to Dyersburg, TN and picked up this 36 Chevy Sedan this past weekend.
Great progress pics, you need to start a build thread so we can subscribe. Your likely to have more followers than in the introduction thread. Sweet '36 too!
