Hi to all: Ive looked around on this site for about a week now. I like what i see. cool cars and cool folks. The free info. from all the regulars is unbelievable. Its got to b a tuff job keeping this site together.(great job)!! sence im a newbe here it'll take me time to aclimate to the right area's so bare with me on this..I havent figured out how to load pic's yet or the right place to post questions on my interests. I hope to hear from any and all. Sorry to ramble I'm new remember..I think my first build will b my 1955 chevy 2nd series long bed. I've purchased a 1988 chevy silverado 4x4 to swap out the ch***is..GOOD idea or BAD?
Welcome pookie55, hope your are not intending to swap the ch***is from your '88 to the '55. This site is about tradition, old school ways and the talent. Don't sell yourself short and swap the ch***is, keep it traditional, keep it cool. If you 'really' want to help keep the site going, support the HAMB by finding out more in the tab at the top 'The Alliance' and decide from there, also help support Alliance Vendors when possible.
all my cars are original..even the 55 truck is still all original..It was only an idea that ive been kicking around.. its not to late to change my mind.and yes i did buy the 88 for the project..thanks for the info. on the tabs at the top. I will look around more.
traditional..seems this site is far from traditoinal..I've seen lots of frame swaps..I think theres lots of stuff here for everyone. i really like all the good posts i've read and different ideas
