Riviera Vibration?????

    Thats what I am hoping for. Guess we will find out when we get it all back together.
     
  2. You can't adapt a more common mount to fit and save some $$$?

    I looked into that, but it seemed like the other mounts I looked at would make the trans sit quite a bit higher then the original one. Being that I am trying to fix an unknown vibration problem, I didnt want to give it any excuses.

    I hope you find your vibration.....who did you find to do your converter?is it a switch pitch? my brother is in need for his '64

    The name of the company that rebuilt my converter is Converter Renewal Company out of McGregor Texas. The phone number is 254-840-3721. I just picked up the converter from them this morning, and couldnt be happier with the level of customer service I received. I wont know for sure if it fixed my problem till later in the week when we have time to install the trans.

    My transmission mount came in today. Guess we will see if this fixes my problem.

    Well, be got it all back together last night, and the vibration is all but gone. I was able to cruise it at 70 mph, with just a slight vibration. Not sure what it is, but atleast its manageable
     
  8. Did you check the pinion support on the two piece driveshaft while you were in there?
