Just Watched "CHOPPERTOWN"

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Evel, Sep 15, 2005.

  1. I watched it last night and I watched it again at work when I hadn't got shit to do.

That documentary fucking rules... You are really a classic bunch of guys...
I talked to Rico a couple times last year, I didn't really know what to say back then... And then, in that movie, he's the fucking nicest guy ever.. A true ruler if you ask me.
And then the GF, and Eric Webb the barber... Fucking awesome footage!!
Don't even get me started on Jason Jessee...

Damn... I'm gonna watch it again tomorrow with my lady!! Wether she likes bikes or not. Yesterday one of my friends mothers watched it with us and she really digged it!

I can relate to you with a same kind of friendship that I have overhere with a lot of guys that I've known since high school, all skaters and BMXers... The only thing is that none of 'em is into hotrods or vintage bikes. What a total bummer.

  7. fucking awesome, I watched it last night. I can see how that would make a cool scrapbook for all the guys. Where was Germ I thought he was a Sinner and we would see him working at Cole's??

Germ's not a Sinner...closest thing to a prospect, though. If he were like Brandon (aka Harvester of Bondo, aka Patina Turner), he would be a self-proclaimed Nomad Sinner. We love them both all the same.

  9. That was one of the best documentaries Ihave ever seen...

I was cool to see guys with a kinshift and respect as fine as those guys.

    WtF's a "kinshift"? Is that a shifter donated/made by a relative?

I know Gary and I know you , and I can imagine the fucking mess they had to clean up around the two of you . I don't blame Kutty for getting mad , it is ( sort of ) his movie anyhow . . . not like he is the star or anything , but it does revolve around his bike being put together , so it as kind of his flick in that way .

I did notice the cross was gone in the next shot :) Should we discuss Gary & Boomer & a bottle of bodily fluids in a tree at the first Faggananny ?

have I said too much , is there a god ? can Kutty out do the Hippy Killer ? Stay tuned ! ! !

Also get a fucking babysitter and lets go to tiajuana ?!?!? let's make it a regular blowout . get Rico and Jose . . . all the boys . let's make them regret being so close to the mighty 619 ! ! ! !

sorry if this is a ramble , as I am drunk and on sudafed ( still ) .

    Hey Gang,
We can't believe the amazing outpouring of support that has been coming in. Seriously, it sounds cheezy, but hearing that guys are even a little bit inspired by our film makes the whole thing worth it. Thank you.

    Ride hard,
    Zack and Scott

I watched it and thought it was pretty cool. Kutty's bike is awesome. Harvester's bike kicks serious ass. And then the next day I got DiCE and there was the Tiny Dancer again. Inspiring.

i liked it but was dissapointed. there was so much stuff that could have been cool if it had been explaned more. like the fight n stuff. i know its just drama but iv seen bike built before and i thought it was lame that subjects werent gone into but i watchd a whole haircut and kissing scene. i shouldent talk shit cause i cant explane myself but i was a bit bored with the film. jason jesse was the best part.

Sorry to drag this back up but if any of you guys didn't get to see this film.......you should!
I admit i was real slow getting hold of it, but its one of the best things i've seen in a while & its also reminded me why i kept my panhead stashed at the back of the workshop!!

The old flame has been re lit.......& i can't stop thinking about my bike.
