All right- I just finished this car a year ago- and after going to multiple shows- Ive decided I want to change it.....

Ive been looking at the wheel vintiques site- thinking about going with steel wheel/ dog dish hubcaps.....

The car has a 428cj that is putting down 430 to the rear wheels- so I definitely want to keep with the 60s hot rod look

Right now, Im thinking of going with a 15x7 with 4.5" back spacing in the back and a 15x5 up front

On the back I would run a 225/60/15- front havent decided yet.....

Here is a picture of the car now.....

So anyone have any experience with that wheel tire combo in the back?

Anyone fit anything more aggressive in the back before?

    Thanks
    Brent

My personal opinion would be Chrome reverse and Baby moons on 15inch wheels. Run a 215 tire in front and a 225 tire in rear.

I had a hard time finding a rim to fit my my 56 sedan. I wanted old style American clones.

I ended up with 15 x 6 which were hard to find. Tire clearance can be a problem on the rear of a 56 (stock rear end not narrowed).
