Howdy folks, Name's John and I just moved to Raleigh after a tour in the military. Been into old cars for some time but never had the time or been in one place long enough to really get into things . Now I'm unemployed and lookin' to learn as much as I can maybe even pick up a project. Anyone know of any clubs or places to learn here in Raleigh. Hell, I'm about to look for a good welding cl*** here but I'd love to help out at anyone's shop if you didn't mind. I'll do all the **** work if you just show me a couple things, and of course I'd supply the cold ones. Hell just give me a holler as I don't know anyone in these parts. I'm an Amarillo boy. John Boy
I've got another Texas guy helping me out, Biscuit, he helps me out at my shop on the weekends and rigth now is helping me open a new bar in town. Wake Tech is you best bet for welding cl***es. There are a couple of clubs in town as well. Hit me up and we can hang out. Biscuit and I will be doing some demo work in my bar tonight (corner of Cabarrus and Dawson downtown) you're welcome to come by if you like. I think I sent a PM but hell if I knows. I just found some cl***es at Wake Tech, looks like I'm a little late for the fall semester there. Gonna try and talk my way in.
