Hi Guys, I have been reading threads for a while now but figured I may start posting some things soon so best to say "Hi" and tell you a bit about me. So my first car was a Mini, NO not one of those BMW things the old really small ones from England, best handling cars ever maid , I have had all sorts of cars while living in New Zealand growing up, then while in England I had more mini's. Now that I have been on the contenant of "big" cars I have finally been able to pick up a calssic project in the way of a 1955 Buick Special 2DR HT, its going to take me quite some time to have it looking like I want to but for now just getting her back on the road is the aim! Welcome from your homeland New Zealand And yes i can relate to the pommy thing re wheels LOL NZ was full of them as I grew up - YAnkee or Canadian stuff was not that common in the sixties and even the early 70's

Looks like there's a load of us Kiwi's on here! Cant wait to visit home again (next month) I have a Mini "Me" that will get to meet his grandad finally! Lets just hope its rained enough before I get there so its dry while we visit. Cheers Hoopz
