my 50 progress

Hope you like my 50 im going to change the color again cause I hate this color now! but just finished the rear bags and c-notch. First time wasnt too bad! It will be going satin red with copper pearl within the month. Ill keep up with the pics.

 

looks good. I see the welder there, did you leave that for the pic or did you actually finish welding the notch with the bags on the car?

 

It was in the pic because I was welding some brackets for the gas tank in the rear....just a coincidence.

I don't think I've seen your car before, have you had it around here (Pinellas) long?

 

Its been a year nor so now. I took it to Biff burger once about 6months ago. but thats it. Youll be seeing it around a lot more often when shes drivable in a few weeks. Lets connect one day soon! my shop is on Range Rd. off Hurculees by the little airport.

 

looks good, what notch did you purchase from suicidedoors?

 

The car looks great, did you install a 4 link on it? How much of the wheelwells/floor did you have to cut out, do you have any more pictures. I really want to do the same to my car but I am a little nervous about getting the whole thing set up right.

 

I used the standard S-10 from Suicidedoors. Hade to trim in a few areas but just the bottom angles to match up with my frame. I am only running the main leaf that I had made from a spring shop so its a bit more sturdy than the orig. Ill try this set up for a while and see how she runs then if I dont like it I can always switch it out for a 4 link? But so far so good!

 

Hey 50 chevy....when you gonna post some more pics? I am on your site about 5 times a day to gather ideas! I need more!lovin the new logo too!

What size lowering blocks?

cfish50chevy, do you have any higher res pics you could send me? You basically did exactly what I am planning, I would love to see some more of the notch and maybe one from the interior of the car looking back into the trunk. Or whatever you have.
