Thanks again and your Powell "hot rod" deck will be in da mail tomorrow, let me know when it arrives? CAB
O/T, Ive got a question thats been burnin me up for a few years. What Skate flic was it that there was a lil kid, singin a very broken version of Rolling Stones "Satisfaction"?
Oh yeah , at that comp in mexico or something, that **** was rad. Little guy right hahahaha I wanna watch that now. Was matt hensley in that, he ruled it back then L
Thanks for the fantastic lines on the Poncho Skratch! It was a pleasure to meet you, and a treat to have you lay those lines on the car. They are perfect.
Scratch, after talking to you briefly in Paso and hearing that you would most likely be in Japan when Billetproof rolled around I have to say I was stoked to see you when you rolled in. We've only talked briefly a handful of times at previous events but I can tell your twisted in the head, and thats priceless!!!!!! Thanks for the witty banter and **** talking it was great!!!!! I'm stocked you came up to BP for the first time and enjoyed it, we were all glad to HAVE you!!!!! Nobody puts on a show like KIRK!, at this point he kind of has it down to a science. Nowhere will you see over 800 cool cars in one place and so many people just having a good time without the drama.... See you in Paso Scratch, thanks again for joining us!!!! BIG DIRTY
Hell yeah, thanks Cab. Ive been looking around and askin people for like 3 years. Everybody remembers the kid, just not the ***le.
skratch has done nice work for a long, long time. ahhhh...the good old days. Nice to know you're still alive and kickin', man!
Me and my girl went up to BP. I work with Skratch back in LA, and we met up with him on saturday and it was a really great show, alot of great cars. We met up with a few guys from the road zombies and some other buddies. it's pretty weird Im from San Jose, and i knew a few people up there already, and within a day in a half he already knew more people then i did in the Bay... and he is from Texas. kind of irrratating... very personable guy. i wish i had met steve cab. being from SJ it would have been cool. the painter formly known as Skootch. at Skratch's Garage.
maybe its the cruise. i aint got nothing cruise right now so. ill rock my VW but i dont think anyone is into that.
Shave that beard, ya hippy! If you get in this part of the country, let me know, I need a good babysitter.
watch out for skratch he has some cool **** going on at the shop he is going to make it big pretty soon. then all of y'all will be saying i talked to that guy on the hamb. but no one will care... and thats Hollywood.
Man, those lines are really looking good.......I've always been impressed by your design sense and ability to come up with different ideas......good on ya man...........D
dammit..thanks. well,if wasn't for you and good ol' frank palmer....i would still be tryin' do this with a toothbrush an model paint.
I agree whole heartedly. Skratch took one look at my newest ink (art nouveau/mucha by Rob @ Garage Ink) , and went to town on the car. I let him have full reign on whatever he wanted to do, and came up with that awesome design. Skratch...YOU are the man. (Can you tell how happy I am with the lines?) If I ever decide to change the color, I'm just going to have to find a new decklid and hood for the car and hang those in the garage.
thanks, just let me know.hell, maybe i'll paint it..... those pics turned out great.all my pics, look like i have my thumb over the lens.is that wrong?
