Its a 1940 chevy sedan. I bought it a little over a year ago and it sat around. I have every piece for this car. I have every new rubber seal and grommet. New felts. My plans are to make a mild custom. lower the rear put skirts and spotlights on it.

Its the original 216 in there now with a 3 on the tree. I have a built 216 i would like to drop in. We took the body off it has no repair panels it was just dipped primed and sealed. the frame was sand blasted along with all chassis parts. It has the knee action front suspension instead of i beam axel. I sealed all parts and brackets. then i painted the frame and everything in gloss black and made it a roller. the under body is painted satin black. all brakes are rebuilt, tank, transmission, and much more. i did alot of work.

Ok gents, I have been super busy lately. For the little time i get to go work on my car iv got alot done.
1.) Front sheet metal all hung
2.) Transmission linkages powder coated and installed.
3.) Dash primed and ready for paint, and the garnish moldings are getting chromed.
4.) Got my al-state Voltage regulator. Now I am looking for a Vintage hotrod coil to complete the ignition system.

Sure am HRP. Im trying to figure out some stuff i want to do yet. Such as hubcaps (The Plymouth ones i ordered i don't like.) ,and the spotlights i want to do the appleton 112 model but they are pretty expensive. Also i want to decide what i want to shave on the body for a little mild custom.

Ok guys now that i have been back in school making my way through junior year iv got some stuff done on my 40.
-Got all my bumpers chromed, along with garnish moldings and grill.
-Started doing some body work, as in shaving the handles and bodying them out.
    - Got my self a set of NOS 16'' hollywood flipper wheel cover (full cover).
    - Made my appleton 112's into dummy's and mounted just one for that early style custom look.
    - Still looking for a motor and trans. And I ordered a new cloth covered wiring harness and tear drop skirts.
