Just my .02, but I think if you raised the rear end (just an inch) the tire would "fit" the rear fender reveal perfectly. Of course, I'm looking at photos instead of the real car so I can't get the perfect perspective.

    Car looks great!

Lookin' good, GT! I'll bet it's going to give you a lot better performance, esp. on the highway...I know you drive this car long distances. Keep us posted after your first test drive.

I've had dozens of people tell me that this car sits "just right" and it will stay that way as long as I own it.:D

Then don't mess with perfection. All of our eyes see things slightly differently, and it's really hard to tell through pictures! Dozens of people who've seen it in person trump one person across the country behind a keyboard!

    Again, *****IN' car man!!!

  14. I think I found the tires for my '56 Cadillac. They're Diamondback 700R15's. They have a bias-ply look to them. I'll be picking those up next month.

Finally!!!Took the car out & drove 40-50 miles yesterday, drove on everything from gravel to new highway---BIG improvement!!! Damn thing corners like a go-kart,doesn't follow cracks in the road & just better handling all around. No shake,no shimmy Had it up to 80 mph & was steering with 1 finger. Ride seems about the same,BUT have 36 psi in all 4 ---going to play with pressures & will probably improve the ride. The rears 750x16 are 6 ply rated and the rear of the car is light---can probably let them down quite a bit---have to experiment with that

SOOO yee of little faith --these tires came from Coker and are not square, and didn't take much weight to balance them--IN FACT one of the rear ones didn't require any weight at all!!!!
So far I am very happy with them
