Has anyone ever dealt with Country Cl***ic Cars? Kind of curious as I started looking at their inventory - lots of stuff, seem like fair prices. http://www.countrycl***iccars.com/ Any input is welcome!
Check the trunk for cow turds. Read the descriptions and some don't make sense. One says spend 20 years in a Museum but looks like it was driven there every day of that 20 years. Just a matter of realizing the country folks are not as discriminating as the city folks. You're going to have to see them in person.
There are at least 3 other threads on this place. The general consensus is that they carry over-priced cars, often with disguised rust, so proceed with caution.
A bunch over over priced rusted out doner cars. They do have a few nice ones indoors but still over priced.
Thanks for the help guys. Will probably end up cruising the Caddy this season, and start considering a sale in the fall for a new winter project. Something 49-54 ish GM, which has always been my dream!
I walked through the place a few times; they want big bucks for some seriously rusted out old cars. Dont know how they stay in buisness.
They're about a mile from my house. I'd be glad to look at any car someone is interested in, but per the above posters - overpriced and never nearly as nice as described. I looked at a 50 Plymouth convertible over there that was described as "solid." The inner rockers were nothing but rust. The car needed loads of work and they wanted 13 grand. I got them down to 11 - twice what it was worth. needless to say, I p***ed. It was still there eight months later.
I've been there several times. They have lots of cars in lots of conditions. Yeah, a lot are overpriced but I have seen several cars, (outside ones) that were interesting cars that were priced right. They have quite a few (inside cars) that are nicer. I also know guys who bought cars there that are satisfied. Like any antique or cl***ic, best to look at it yourself or know someone who knows cars very well before buying.
