I'm looking for dads 40 chevy bussiness class coulpe. We lived in Warren county Ohio area in the town of Lebanon. All i know about the car's where abouts it was sold in the Dayton area and dad saw it in that area at a show mid 90s truned street rod. It raced under the name easyrider, black paint with gold leaf lettering, steel tilt front end, rear fenders were bobbed. Trying to find the only pic i had of it move couple times so it here some where. He ran at most of the tracks in the area. would like to find it to see if i can get it back in family and back to a drag car. Thanks for any help if any body knows any thing about it.

It sold in the mid 70s. Been chasing down some of dads buddies that are still living to see if they have any thing on it, and i will look into doing the craigs list ad.

I live in this area and attend a lot of shows. I have never seen such a car in the last 8 years. Having a '40 Coupe myself, I would have remembered it.

Remember sitting in garage with mom sanding the headers when he first got it home I was about seven then. Also mom was the only one that could bump it up on the hauler cause the guys couldn't she said.

Any idea what the street rodded version looked like. I've been going to car shows in the area since I was a little kid, but there's no way to tell what it would look like now! You might want to check out the link below they have car show pictures going back several years from the area, but you would really need to have some identifying features from the last incarnation to go off of. Good luck!

Not dads car but a friend of his that helped him build his engine, and dad painted his car. This pic is from Edgewater Dragway in late 60s early 70s.
