I've searched and not found any answers for this. does anyone know if someone makes a bullet center cap that will fit a stock GM steel rim?
Should be 3 1/8 center hole go to ebay or summit and look for that diameter bullet . It worked for me
I'm not to sure what you are looking for, but if you put a bullet thru the center hole that fits tight it wont go on the hub. you need to grind out the center of the wheel so the bullet fits the wheel and then the hub center
If you can't find just a center bullet, you can always go the route I went and use the chrome spider cap that attaches from the front. They cover the center and the lug nuts. I like them much better than just the center cone.
I bought 3.125" off the net (Ebay) for $32.00 for the set---am happy with them. check out an album on my profile
I'm having the same predicament. I plan on having the center hole on the rim machined to accept 2.95" caps, which is the smallest diameter I have seen.
Shoot a PM to Bullitz here on the HAMB. He lives in New Zealand and he fabricates bullet center caps for stock steel rims. Shipping was cheap and the caps are super quality. I highly recommend him. As crazy as it sounds, I struggled to find a set for my stock 15" Ford steel wheels made here in the USA.
