Grundy is a no h***le company. I have never had a claim however. Customer service aka dumb questions have been very helpful.

Grundyworld wide. Had a check in my hand in 7 days. They are great people to work with.

I have J.C. Taylor. Haven't had to use them yet, but I like everything I read about them and the rates and policies are fair.

I have always used Hagerty, but they refuse to insure my Ranch Wagon if used to tow my vintage camper. After much research, I now have State Farm. No milage limits, no towing restrictions, and under $20 a month!

You'll know when you file a claim.

And stated value vs agreed value. Which translates to less coverage if it should happen to be totaled

phat rat- yeah, you're correct, but I did what I had to do. Gotta have insurance. None of the collector carriers will insure the vehicle if used for towing.

Please read all of the papers from State Farm.I insured my 59 Chevy with them for the same reasons you have .When i got it insured i drove it there and had a long talk about what i wanted and the amount even had an appraisal, but when i got the policy in fine print it said the payout could not exceed $2500 (i asked for $6000 had appraisal of $8000).Please Don't put your old stuff with common insurance carriers without reading your paperwork.

Its a good idea to sit down and read and reread any policy no matter who its with and you will know what to expect if something bad happens before not after.

Yes I'm aware they won't insure when it's used to tow. I inquired with Grundy, where I have the cpe, about insurance on my 85 dually. They said they don't insure vehicles that are used for towing

I have used Grundy for my three for quite awhile. However, I just sold one and called Grundy to cancel it and did not have a good experience. Took awhile to finally get a person on the line, then when I said cancel, all I heard was click. Not the experience I have had when I insured them with Grundy. I sent them an email explaining the experience and have yet to hear back. I have talked with Cl***ic Collector insurance and they are very compe***ve with Grundys rates. Have a friend using them and is satisfied with their service. Might be looking harder. Do have a friend who hit a deer while we were in Deadwood SD last summer and had coverage with Hagerty. They had him a check very quickly. I will be shopping most likely.

Ummm, we went with Chrome on our '70 c-10 for that very reason, it was built to tow a b*** boat. Chrome only one that said no prob. Great so far.
