Model Car Sunday - 03/24/13

...this truck is really nice, great job; been thinkin bout doin another 34 pickup myself lately, one of my all-time favorite kits.

 

This, http://www.krylon.com/products/glitter_blast/ It goes on very ruff, and you have to bury it in clear. Mine has orange peel, but i guess i could of put a few more coats of clear on it. But didn't want to lose detail, cause it was already thick enough.

 

modelking what scale is that?

i dont know how you got as much detail to still be visiable through glitter blast i tried it on a model and buried everything in seconds

 

a 49 chop top shoebox I'm workin on and a few shoebox models I built before.

 

Im envious of the skills shown here......great job all! Kev.

I had to hold the can about 2' away from the model and do light coats.
