I use these on the bottom rail of my engine stand when dis***embling/cleaning an engine, they work great!
Looks like 90% of the guys thought it was a good question,,, the other 10% just like to see themselves up on the big screen
...if you can get some Tidy Cat litter jugs from someone;(most people throw them away) they work great for storing the used oil, just get a large funnel and fill em.
Ok puff-puff Since money is no object , invest in a good funnel, and any pan that has a pour spout or square corners. Get a large flat drip pan , these are 24x36x 1" and some kitty litter. I noticed you are doing 8 qt oil changes so get a pan big enough to hold it.
I'm sorry but if you cant figure out on your own how to transfer liquid from one container to another,I'll stop there.
like HPR showed, or if your car is real low go visit youre local harley dealership. they have a great pan that also seals and holds, or can pour. holds 6 quarts.
i was asking how to do it with no mess. Is this about the oil, or is it about something else? We really need to start sticking together here.
it would be really hard to add anything constructive to the 39 posts on such a simple subject, so I will leave you with this
I have a couple of the ones like HRP posted, and one of the big open ones that Fuel Roadster posted for the Powerstroke, coolant, tractors & trucks. The smaller enclosed ones work excellent for "regular" stuff, and has the raised area to drain filters, handle to drag it out with and easy to pour from. The larger open one is about as big as you can lift without spilling it, even then is a bit awkward- but it holds a lot more. Our waste outfit has 2.5 gal disposal jugs with a large screw-cap opening that will take a large funnel, and the smaller pans can pour right in it. It also comes with a large HD ziplock bag for the filters. You just call them before your trash day and tell them you have an oil pickup, they take it and leave you and empty jug and new bag
