Can a MII suspension be aligned as just a rolling ch***is? Am thinking it would be easier to get it on and off a trailer as just a rolling ch***is without engine/trans/body in place. This okay or is this a no-no?? thanks-

It can be aligned, but it won't be the same, or right, once you put the body and drivetrain in place ......
    In fact not even CLOSE

Suspension geometry/alignment changes with ride height. That's why you align it after the car is and complete and spring/suspension height has been finalized.

All true, but you can do a preliminary alignment with the springs out and some temporary 'struts' in place of the shocks. What this allows you to do, is set the lower control arm angle. When you do the final ***embly, you adjust the spring height with either different rate springs or by t******* coils.
My Heidts unit calls for the lower arms to be level (after the springs settle).
