Took of the plate block thingamajig whater its called that houses the power valve and the two little pins that line it up broke off. it was stuck so i tapped around the edge and it loosened up but i must have tapped a bit to hard. the bolts that go thru it that holds the float/fuel bowl on still line it up pretty good. should i start looking for a new carb or is this not a big deal? It went in the light colored circle area upper left and across on the opposite side.

like he said, just be careful lining up the gasket and you'll be fine.

  4. Put your bolt gaskets on the bowl, then put the bolts through and slip the metering block gaskets over the bolts to align them, then screw them into the main body, every thing will line up. Be carefull removing the gasket, don't gouge the metal, it is soft and you can end up with an internal leak. I use oven cleaner and a tooth brush.
