Getting ready for the Round Up

I have not posted for a while. I guess 2012 was a bit of an *** kicker. I still check in an see what's up while having my morning coffee but just haven't had the time to post.

As I get ready to leave on my annual pilgrimage to the round up I am checking all of my equipment. Made a few improvements to the van and gone thru all the gear to make sure it is tip top. It occurred to me this morning that I should test post some photos from the new iPhone. Here are a few random shots; just for practice.

Hey Ruben I am driving the van with my good friend Bruce Stedman. He actually built the van. There are some others along with us on the trip too. I plan on going on as many back roads as possible and posting like a teenage girl with a new Facebook acct.

Drive safe John! That TravelAll in Bruce's shop is being built for my uncle.....should be a great road trip vehicle.

If you ever come across a clean metro or chevy milk truck let me know... I'm still on the hunt.

Try not to blink if you drive through Earth, you'll miss it

 

I just saw the "Travel-Aid" last week. That thing is crazy; not my cup of tea, but it is going to be an impressive build. Bruce is building an International Travel all and using everything from the ch***is to the dash and all electronics from a Cadillac Escalade.

I'm not sure if we are traveling thru Earth on our way to the Round Up (I love saying that). but if we do I will let you know. PM me your cell phone #.

All you left coast guys be careful on your road trips. We don't want you getting lost or missplaced while in route....

 

I plan on getting lost as many times as possible in route. That is when all the fun happens.

Hey Piero we plan on tumbling in to bobs in Wellington tax Tuesday afternoon. Stay in touch once you start heading east. You never know, we might cross paths.
