How many of you have found yourselves with too many cars, too little space? I thought so.

I went to an estate sale with a buddy, not intending to buy anything, and ran across a '49 5-window 3100 that was part of the sale. All the heavy lifting had been done: the truck ran, stopped, and most of the gauges worked. The truck needed some cosmetics, but not much. It had been repainted the original green with black running boards, with pine boards in the pickup bed. It had the cab visor and after-market wheels, but the guy running the estate sale told me the truck came with the original wheels -- all 6 of them. The price was too good to p*** up. After checking with my wife, I wrote a check and drove the thing home.

It's parked beside a '54, which is nowhere near as nice as the '49. I suspect I will sell the later model.

Anyhow, I was so pleased I had to share the news with folks who would appreciate the find.
