Does anyone know how to contact Karol Miller of Houston/Bonneville/Daytona fame? He was a friend from the 50's and I could not find him listed in Houston phone book. Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

  2. Unless I am mistaken, he has been gone for many years now. Went to Ford heaven.

If Karol Miller is still living in California and could he be reached? My name is Van May and would be very interested in talking to him. My dad worked at the FORD dealership in Seminole Texas and helped set up a rear end for his 56 . My dad had a Harley and raced his 56once and got blown away, first time by a car. My number is 717 632 5026 and would like to know if he remembers anything of what I did.

Karol lives in Tx.. he is difficult to get hold of.. You can probably forward your question through Bruce Young at Y Block magazine: yblockmag@yahoo.com

Some mutual friends were setting up a drag race between Karol's Falcon sprint ( I think) and my 56 chevy. We had just come back from the 1964 AHRA winternats and with some help from AHRA legend Del Blades won cl***. I was 18 and my buddy 19, regardless I got my chevy ready (removed about 350 lbs. of lead) and towed the car to the local Pharmacy (staging area for tri-city beach road). KM and his car never showed up...
My guess is, looking back, he would have dusted me! KM was a genius! He only lived about 30 miles from me. g
The older I get the better I was!
