New guy here , ive been tinkering with the idea of buying a dragster for a year now , been quoted prices from different shops Then guess what , I ran across this forum, you guys actually build your own blew me away almost fell out of my chair , so I signed up , I wouldn't mind building my own just like some of you , ive got a welding back ground machinist I have a mill and lathe, several welding machines also, someone please point me in the right direction so I can get started plans advice anything , I want a dragster Russ

I was wondering do all dragsters have moly ch***is tubing , mild steel is a lot cheaper , I dought I can find a hemi or a flathead hummmm I they all use moly tubing ill need a tig outfit I guess.
I got a 71 MWE front engine roller ch***is that has been down the track and NHRA certified to 6 seconds in 2008. have alot of key parts for reqired upgrades to keep it certified that fast in the sale too. Its posted on the HAMB if you query "front Engine Dragster" in the search box. Just sayin'
