This is kinda a "before and after" but more of a "saved from the old man billet hot rod" kinda pic of my old truck

 

Here is my heap...

 

I met a few of you guy's last weekend, actually DJ popped me in the balls to be correct. My drunk *** fell for the Bangkok bit.

 

This was LOST 30 years
I Looked for 7 years
The restoration took 5 years

When done folks would come up to me and say 'How did you find this in such good condition?'

And when I was finally do with all the BS I sold it back to the A-holes that built it in the first place FOR TONS A MONEY

Do you feel motivated yet?

 

A little newer than the rest, but the only thing I have before & afters of.

My involvement with that car was 25 years long It's been gone for three years and still comes up all the time.The car seemed to bring out the best in some people,and honestly the absolute worse in others. Taught me the responsability of discovering,restoring,owning and best using an important piece of automotive history. In all that time of highs and lows it never took the Hot Rodder outta me. I managed a to do a "tire smokin' 360 close the loop" in that car all over the world.... Some laughed, some clapped and some shook their fist......I always tried to smile

****tin bricks would really hurt!

 

Some may not think it's an inprovement.

Heres my yard sale find last October.Workin on a gather parts for a BSA thats in worse shape now.I pieced this toghter just so I could roll it around it was in about 4 or 5 boxes when I got it.Also some pics of my truck I buildin and close to finishin.Started on it last Feb. with just a cowl and some junk off the floor.

here's my 59 when I got it. What you can't see in the pic is the 1" think bondo and newspaper holding the front fenders together, or that the floor and rockers are held together with paint, or that the valances, headlight buckets, etc are gone. That's just the tip of the iceberg. The other pic is from the Cheaters' show last month. ABout a year and a half of weekends.

Like many others, I started with lots of rust, electrical wires that were shorting on each other, a motor and trans that was installed crooked, generally a big mess.
