I have taken the backing plates and axles out. I need new gaskets but don't know where I can get them locally also are there two gaskets per each h side of the axle? One between the backing plate and one between axle and housing? Can somebody post a pic? Also get me a part number so I can call up napa?

Try NPD, Dennis Carpenter, Macs - all sell Ford truck parts. I replaced the gaskets in my 62 from these suppliers. Also Sacremento Vintage Ford may be closer to you, and The Truck Shop in Orange Cal. All sell this vintage ......

I just used silicone have never had a problem as there is no grease out there, the bearing is sealed.
