Ralph's Diner is a hell of a lot closer (at least for the M***holes). so if Rhinebeck is a bust, come on over to Ralph's for the Alter Boys show. There might eb a couple of room sleft at the Marriot around the corner from the diner.

Not me...last year was a little too wet for me....they wouldn't let us camp #1, we found a place to camp..and woke up @ 2am witha river through the tent/car port #2. Then even when there wasn't anybody around on saturday they got pissed @ us cause we parked the car-carrier in the "for sale" area but didn't pay for it...even though we had 3 cars in there and the field was empty. The guy was being a total **** and my buddy is handicapped and can hardly walk anymore...and the guy was still being an *** to him. F Rhinebeck. Nice place and good cars...but the people running it were a PITA

Gl***guy - how much was you duece pickup chopped??? it has a pretty good stance/proportions are just right.
also who did the louvers in the bed sides for you?? someone local? I want to have some done but haven't heard of anyone around here that does them.
you don't know of anybody that does the chemical stripping/dipping in MA do you? I thought there was a place in Worcester but there website doesn't work anymore and i can't find a phone listing for them. I think it used to be called Redi-Strip of New England or maybe it was Metal-Strip of New England???

the p/u was chopped 6 inches.the louvres were done by a friend of mine in gloucestor m***. i can pm you his # if you want. im not sure about the stripping i know there is a place in newhampshire but i dont know the name of it.. i was in a tent last year too haha once the tide came in i had to sleep in the merc. it was horrible! this year leadsledmerc is hookin me up with a room.. i will undoubtedly be drugged, and ********d by him over and over but it will be worth it to stay dry at nite

drugged and ********d by leadsledmerc...hmmm maybe i should go this year :D where did you end up camping last year? we set up a 12x20 carport..and some cots...of course there was a river though it by moring.....so we went and got a room (bend over please:eek: ) there were a group of guys near us @ the campground that totally soaked...all thier gear was up on the picnic table the next morning and they looked miserable...but i don't remember what they had for cars (funny that's usually the only thing i can remember)

anyway yeh i would like that guys number...I want to have a small panel done so that i can weld it into the visor on my truck instead of drilling those big 3" speed holes in it...i guess i could just make up a bolt on brace to hold it from flapping around but that wouldn't be fun..and it would be to easy....

I think i've decided to go with media blasting instead of the dipping method..to many bad stories.
American Dry Stripping down here in ****ord, CT usues some stuff called Olivine...some type of mineral...but apparently it does paint/filler/primer/rust bust doesn't heat and warp like other blasting methods...i don't know. Sounds impressive enough and his prices are pretty good.

Thanks for the info on the truck...do you still have it? or did it get sold - if not you got quite the nice collection going there.

do you cut gl*** or just do the windshiled type deal & replacement of door gl*** etc??? cause when i'm ready i'll need a good "gl***guy" to make me up some side/rear windows and a windshild.

Gary runs a real good shop, clean, organized and the finished product is as clean as you will ever get it. All the pro shops in the area use him, I've been a happy customer for well over 15 years. He has a booth at most major shows in the area with a s****book of some neat projects that went through his shop an onto National show winning status. :)

****, that *** of yours has been around so much "***guy", that it'd be like throwing a hotdog down a frikin highway! Yea, I know thats an old one, but it's pretty much spot on.

I got a roll of masking tape that'll take care of all the leaks on the C-dan and the rainex is already on...let the games begin!
Dave, I'll see you up on the pike tomorrow morning.

I went to Rhinebeck, Saturday morning, with a couple friends.

We were going to sell the 47 Buick Hose truck. My friend's (Mike) a member (was) of the greedy guys. Asked what it would cost. They wanted $50. for the coral and 15 bucks a piece for me and Tim, which was fine.

When we got in they said they wanted another $50 for the Truck towing the trailer...it wasn't for sale or anything and the way they had us parked, no one could have parked in front of us or behind us. Then an A-hole came running over to tell us it was someone else’s rules.

I told him to go get "someone else" but he just ran away. Anyway we went back to the gate and asked and they said "Oh yes that's the way it is" I asked "Why did the people at the table whom we paid say it was fine?" They answered “they shouldn't have said that!!!

At which point I told them to shove their show up their azzes. So we went to Bennington Antique show...Used a lot of expensive gas towing with that 454 big block.

BTW I did make Burlington yesterday, lots of nice plastic cars and gorgeous trailers. A ton of Rat Rods and real cars too.
