Tough crowd, hahaha! It needs tires regardless, and I think big and little's would look good on it.

I say those boys back in 1960 probably wanted a drop axle and some big and little white walls and if they weren't paying for college they would have done it. DO IT. It's nothing that can't be reversed.

Man you find cool chit! I like the big n littles idea personally. How are you going to drive everything to the East West Flathead run? Great project man.

Thats super cool. I dig that style, it would fit in in the 40's 50's or 60's. The epitome of a cl***ic hot rod in my eyes.

Hell, I'd would have bought it just for the Cal Custom "beanies"!!!!!

There were 5 model A's like this out there for every one that looked like Roth's "Little Jewel" It is a real look at what most considered "hot rods" back then!

X2, and a full set of beanies. It would look like that orange one with the 283 that was it Hot Rod in 1962. Some time back, someone was talking about re-popping the proper pointy beanies. Did anything ever happen with that?

if you had seen any of the builds that Chris has posted here, you would not have worries; it's in the right hands. to say i'm a fan of his work is an understatement; Chris has a great eye for stance, proportion and period correctness that few here can match. Good on you Chris for the find. I know you will do it right. subscribed

Looks just like my first rod, built in 57. drove it to High school stock, then tore it down and s****ed up the needed parts, was strictly old school got the tips from the 'OLD' rodders. I used the stock A radiator, cooled the 265 sbc just fine.
[sbchevys were rare bak then.] stock 32 cross member, steering, wishbone, axle etc. had 48 ford brakes, and rear end [10 bucks to shorten it]. and had 2 model A mufflers.[sounded like an A at the stoplites.] Nobdy beat me in a city block
